Varavoor
Varavoor a lush green residential village about 28 KM west of Thrissur Town. It is in Trichur District, Wadakancheri Block, Thalpilli Taluk of Kerala State, India. It is surrounded by small green hills and is 30 mins drive away from the cultural head quarters of Kerala. The village is full of hills, valleys and plain land with trees like Cashew, Teak etc. There is a stream passing through the village and joining the Bharatha Puzha near Thirumittakode.Road: This is about 8 km away from the State Highway No 22 (Thrissur - Shornoor high way) turning from Mullukara (SH22), and take Chittanda Thalasseri Road.
One can reach Varavoor from SH39 also (Cheruthuruthi - Perumpilavu Rd). It is around 12 km from state highway 39.
Nearest railway station is Mullurkara about 7 km away, Wadakkancheri Railway station is about 12 km and Shoranur Jn is 13 km away.
