    Present Political scene of Kerala

    Now that the political parties are busy with Assembly election preparations, it will be good to have a healthy discussion on the prospects of these parties (or different Fronts). Various channels are spending their time mainly for discussions on issues related to election.

    Now again a repetition of 2006 Assembly Election scenario is here. V.S. Achuthanandan, the Chief Minister was not in the fray in the beginning when the State Committee finalised the list of C.P.I(M) candidates, but the Politburo has instructed the State Committee to include him. He is now to contest from the Malampuzha constituency of Palakkad district, where-from he was elected in the last elections. In the last Assembly also his candidature was decided in this manner.
