    Kochi will be a venue for next season's IPL ?

    IPL came to Kochi and Kochi is included in IPL, after a long wait. But even now rumors are there about choosing the Kochi ground (JN International stadium) for the next season of IPL. The lower participation of people to see the matches is cited as a major reason (when the ticket charges came down, the last play saw a packed stadium). Other cities are trying their best to get the play in their home ground.

    The rules formed by the corporation are also not meant to attract the IPL officials to create a revenue earning atmosphere here at Kochi . It is heard that the corporation is demanding 5 percent of the tickets to be given for free . This is not what is expected from a corporation .

    Why does it require so many tickets for free . All the senior officials want to go for the match along with their kith and kin .

    I hope that the corporation will act more responsibly and and sensibly in future to see to it that the Kochi stadium can entertain its viewers through IPL even in the future .
