Wat do u think will be the future of our government????

Does Oommen chandy have the guts to complete the full term????
i think it will be quite difficult for him to have his men together for the next 5 yrs.after all it is just a marginal majority over the LDF.

You have raised a valid current topic. The survival of the Ministry for 5 years is not depending on guts of the Chief Minister. It depends on the support of majority in the Assembly.

There are many instances where the majority Governments both in the state and at Center were overthrown. The 1st Non Congress Government in India and the 1st Communist Government in Kerala and India headed by EMS Namboothiripad could not complete its term of five years. It was dismissed by the Central Government despite having majority. The P V Narasimharao Government at Center though a minority Government survived 5 years. There are several such instances for completion and non completion of the full term by majority and minority Governments at Sates level and Central level.

Since it will not make any difference for the people of the state or country by change of the Government let us hope for the present one to complete 5 years, so that we need not undergo the trouble connected with the mid term elections.

This Government will last, may be with certain sacrifices from the side of the major ruling party, Congress. If it falls it can be because of the inner problems of Congress itself. Also the demands from the coalition partners will be creating head ache for the CM.

An anti corruption attitude must be a guideline for the success of the ministry, since at the national level it is given very high importance, since the Anna Hazarre's fast.
