National Sample Survey 68th round to begin

For planning and allocating funds details of socio-economics of the country are needed. It is through the National Sampling Survey conducted by the Central Statistical Organization under the Ministry the collection is done within a fixed interval. This survey to begin all over the country on July 1st is its 38th round.

In Kerala the survey is to cover 328 Panchayats and 232 urban wards. It will focus on gathering data on household consumer expenditure and employment status of the people.
