Phone Facilities in Jail
It is seems like better we will stay in Kerala Jail than outside Jail. In the Jails of Kerala all facilities including Satellite Phone is available. According to the report submitted to the Government by the ADGP, some of the prisoners could contact even overseas over satellite phones. He expressed the doubt that they could have terrorrist relations. But, as citizen of Kerala, I have a doubt and I know that most of the Kerala citizens have the same doubt. Jail is the one of the most secure place and having high security. Then how these phones came to Jail without the knowledge of Jail officials? Only when the Balakrishna Pilla's phone call issue raised, the government became alert regarding the usage of phone inside the Jail. That means our Govenment don't have a system to monitor what is happening inside the jails of Kerala and the govenment is not bothered about the activites going on inside the jail. Even after this issue why the govenemnt is not taking any action on the jail officials and conduct an enquiry to find out how these phones came to jail?
