How should the Malayalam Cinema take this Santhosh Pandit phenomenon ?
The name Santhosh Pandit has been rippling over the lips of Malayalis ever since the video of Krishnanum Radhayum was released. After watching so many interviews of him, what I could understand is that there may be no other person with such an arrogance and Narcissim in the world apparently. Anyway, the question is that what does the so called film Krishnanum Radhayum remind the film workers. The audience felt this film like the license to shower atrocious words for 3 hours. Why people spend their money to have this kind of experience ? There's been a huge cry over the dwindling quality of Malayalam cinema, though a lot of difference has been seen recently. Can this negative following of Santhosh Pandit by the youth be considered as their protest against the whole community of film personalities. Is this not a warning from the cerebral film audience ?What you think ?
