Golden Jubilee for Golden Voice

On November 14th 1961 a song was sung by a new singer. It is not a complete song, but just four lines for the film 'Kaalpadukal'. Music director M. B. Sreenivasan did not expect the new singer later became the legend of Indian singing. I am saying about, no doubt, about Gaanagandarvan Yesudas. Today on November 14th 2011, Yesudas completed his 50 years of journey of play back singing. The first four lines sung by Yesudas begins as 'Gaathibhedham Mathadhewsham' which he usually sung in stages.
With his usual humbleness he says it's all because of God's blessing. He is now in Chennai without any celebrations. But surely the music lovers cannot forget this day. They just celebrating Ganagandharvan's Jubilee as a singer.
