    Land in Kerala

Kerala, God's own country, attracts tourists because of her natural beauty. Land is the resource behind this. But now this land has become the major business commodity. Real estate groups are after every piece of land, whether it is paddy land or estate or water logged areas or forest or any type. And the activities by these groups destroy the whole environment, resulting in an irreparable loss to the region.

What you pointed out is very serious problem.
This cannot be stopped. The bureacrats and
the political lobby are also behind it.

Th JCB became our National Animal.

Many hills are now just flat fields.
People who voiced against this destruction
    are not getting any attention.
The dirty daily politics are diverting the
    the attention of the public.
The people who loved the mother earth is queuing up in the Beverage
    Corporation's sales outlets.

This is one of the most important challenge Kerala is facing today. We have been witnessing it for the years. The destruction of land and natural resources become more dangerous and frequent in the resent years. This is due to the emergence of real estate business in Kerala. Now this JCBs are making the hilly landscapes to flat fields so that they will get more from the business.

This destruction of the lands is not simply a problem to the tourism of Kerala. Knowingly or unknowingly they are destroying the resources of the future generation. We are loosing our nature. Now it is hard to find a better water resources, tree shades and other natural resources in the major towns in our state.

The resent issue related to Munnar is one thing which we need to look into. The political parties itself is supporting the destruction of the future resources.
