Kerala market responds to every small changes in the national or international prices (values of other currencies). Even other fluctuation such as natural calamities also are reflected very quickly in this small state's market economy. The prices of vegetables are example. Getting more rain or less rain in Tamilnadu reflects in the vegetable price here.
The changes in Dollar money value will definitely reflect in our Rupee value. This reflects in two ways. The difference in exchange value affects the imports negatively. Those working in US get more rupee when the earnings are sent back to India. This leads to inflation. Both affects the market economy.
