Karmayodha, the upcoming Mohanlal blockbuster movie. The next Mohanlal -Major Ravi movie after Kandahar. As directed by Major Ravi, this movie doesn't go up with military aspects, it's a type of investigation story. As Major Ravi's other movies like Keerthi Chakra, Kurukshetra and Kandahar have total military aspect. Although Major Ravi's Kandahar was not that much successful as expected.
Karmayodha is a action thriller movie based upon a investigation story. Mohalal and Rajeev Pillai are playing the lead role in the movie. Mohalal plays the role of an investigation officer. The whole story go up with the kidnapping of a girl. The movie is having a thrill of investigation. It shows various method of investigation.
Major Ravi is looking much forward for this movie as his last movie was not that much successful. As Mohanlal is standing at the top of the Box office this year,Mohanlal's last megahit movie was Run Baby Run, which got a successful story behind it. A superhit song by Mohanlal in Run Baby Run makes the movie a variety.
The movie is based totally upon actions, as in other movies of Major Ravi, he focuses mainly upon actions, so this movie brings up a lot of action scenes by the superstar. As storyline is written by Major Ravi.

There are different locations for the movie that are Mumbai, Cochin, Munnar and Nagarcoil. The shooting of the movie began on August 2012, the pooja was held on 7 July 2012 at the BTH Sarovaram Hotel in Cochin.
The sound track for the movie is done by MG Sreekumr for the lines of Dr Madhu Vasudevan. Cinematography is handled by Pradeep Nair, who's last film was Nallavan(2010) and Janapriyan(2012). Editing work is handled by Donmax. The movie is produced under the banner of Red Rose Creations and MR Productions. The movie is distributed by Red Rose Release.
