The cricket league of celebrities becomes the biggest entertainment for the last year is all set to begin its next season. Cricket is the religion of India, film stars status also not much different. Even 2007 CCL commenced, Kerala team come to happen in the last year, Kerala strikers. In kerala the team got good support from the crowd, this enable to hold the inaugural match at Kochi Javaharlal Nehru stadium. The inaugural match, Kerala Strikers v/s Mumbai Heroes will be on 9th February 2013. Last year Kerala team was remarkable , the match held at Kochi against Mumbai Heroes was a unforgettable victory in the minds of fans, the close match between Chennai was also great experience for the team. Kerala Strikers could not reach the semi-finals but stays in the mind of fans forever. The new season is going to starts in the February 2013 the team is on final touch. Previous season the matches broadcasted by Sun Net work, this year Asianet will do the same.

Further Asianet will hold curtain raiser of the event at 6.30 p.m. on January 26th 2013, Saturday and at 10.30 am on 27th February 2013, Sunday. The matches of Kerala Strikers will be held on 9th, 17th and 23rd of February and 2nd March. This year's Kerala Strikers team include: Mohanlal( Captain), Indrajith (Vice- Captain), Rajeev Pillai, Nivin Pauly,Vivek Gopan, Manikuttan, Bineesh Kodiyeri, Arun Benny, Madhan Mohan, Arjun Santhosh sleeba, Ragendu, Suresh Nair, Saiju Kuruppu, Prajoth Kalabhavan, Riaz Khan, Shafiqu Rahiman P.A., Rahul Madhav and Vinu Mohan. This time team expected to perform well because of many reasons such as last year's performance, more preparations are done , talented new faces are coming to the side and the ground support team is getting. The team owner Lissy Priyadharsan and Manager Idavela Babu and the team are excited to the CCL 2013. In the absence of Lakshmi Rai, Rima Kallingal will support Kerala Strikers alone with Bhavana. While Nayantara, Priyamani, and Sruthi Haasan added glamour quotient to the south brigade to support various south Indian celebrity teams.

2. 17th February 2013 - Kerala Strikers Vs Bengal Tigers, 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.- Pune
3. 23rd February 2013 - Kerala Strikers Vs Bhojpuri Dabanggs , 7.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.- Sharjah
4. 2nd March 2013 - Kerala Strikers Vs Karnataka Bulldozers , 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.- Ranchi
