2014 Parliament election campaign is progressing.
Kerala, together with other States in India is going to have the general election to the Loksabha on 10th of April. Candidates belonging to various political parties are in the fray, in most of the cases as representing one or the other front. Major fight is between the two Fronts, United Democratic Front (UDF - the present State ruling front) and Left Democratic Front (LDF - the present opposition). Bharatheeya Janatha Party (BJP) is perhaps the only party which is contesting in all the seats as a independent political party. The new Am Admi Party (AAP) has also announced, in some of the seats, the names of their candidates. Other small parties are also present in some of the selected constituencies. The trend of the electorate is not predictable in Kerala, though there used to have a fluctuation from one front to other in every alternate elections. This time one has to wait and see.
