Dear friend,
Election in Kerala was conducted on 10th April. But the counting of votes will be done only after finishing the elections in other States. This will be over by the middle of May. Hence the counting of ballots in Kerala is scheduled on 16th of May. We have to wait for the results until then.

Now the results of the Loksabha elections are out. In national level the BJP led National Democratic Alliance have captured the majority. The present ruling UPA led by Congress party has miserably failed. The Congress part could not even cross the two digit number.
In Kerala the ruling UDF could gain 12 seats while the opposition front,LDF, got 8 seats. Both these groups in a sense are now to sit in the opposition benches in the Loksabha. Kerala could not elect even a single BJP candidate to the Loksabha.
