The country's first woman only taxi cab service She Taxi is introduced in Kochi.These 24/7 service are driven and owned by women. It is monitored through GPS system and their movements can be tracked by passenger's guardians or friends. If any problems crops up the driver can press a panic button and seek police help. The service is initiated by Department of Social Justice.It is interesting to note that The European and GCC Governments are keenly watching the model initiatives of the Kerala Govt to replicate the system in their countries.
