Today, September 5th, is the National Teachers' Day

We had a great teacher in the highest post of the Nation. It was none other than the Second President of this great Nation, Dr. Sarveppally Radhakrishnan. His thoughts, writings and speeches showed how a good teacher must be. He was born on 5th September, 1888. Hence the day was selected as 'Teachers' Day' by our Nation.

The ideas put forth by him and such other Education experts have been neglected by various Governments came in power one after the other.
However, the day is still celebrated as teachers' day !
