Rise of age limit of live PSC list

To control the expenditure, the Department of Finance is understood to have proposed a total ban on reporting vacancies till March 31, 2015 in the live rank lists of Public Service Commission. This is because of the proposal for raising the age limit of candidat swho figure in live rank lists of the Public Service Commission. To save the candidates who figure in the lists from bearing the brunt of the proposal, it has been suggested
to seek the commission's consent for extending the validity of the lists upto December 31, 2015.

The State Public Service Commission prepares enormous list for each post, five to seven times more than the actual requirement. Hence, candidates who do not have a remote chance for employment too are made to wait. By this, fresh entrants would be deprived of a chance for an appointment.
