Recipe of Rakshak milk cake
Ingredients :Milk powder - 4 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Milk - 1 1/2 cup
Oil - 1/2 cup
Powdered Elaichi taken from 3 or 4 elaichis
Pista (optional) - to decorate
First pour milk in a thick bottomed vessel.
Add sugar to it and mix it well and boil it for 5 minutes.
To it add powdered elaichi by spreading it.
After it boils for 2 minutes add milk powder little by little by stirring continuously.
Then add oil to the mixture and stir it continuously
Keep stirring till the mixture leaves the sides of the vessel.
Pour the mixture in the plate greased with ghee and after 5 to 10 minutes,cut it into square,round or oval shape.
We can decorate with grated pista or almonds if needed.
Rakshak milk cake is ready to serve.
