Non-availability OD medcines in Government Hospitals

The Government hospitals in Kottayam are facing intense scarcity of medicines. Even the highly movable antibiotic AMOXYLLIN is not available in any of the Government hospitals.
The reason for this condition is the non receipt of medicines from Medical Service Corporation. This will affect the people below poverty line because most of the medicines for emergency treatment are not available in medical College hospital. Karunya Community Pharmacy also is facing such a problem.
