Aranmula Koattaram also known as Aranmula Vadekke Kottaram is located in Aranmula of the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, in India. This place is also known as the halting place for the Thiruvabharana Kosha Yatra of Lord Ayyappa in the month of January every year
About Aranmula Kottaram / Palace
Aranmula Palace is an old palace which was built about 200 years ago. This Aranmula Palace was also known as Aranmula Vadekke Kottaram or the Aranmula Kottaram. At present this is a traditional homestay with a 'Nalukettu' construction, beautifully renovated with many of the modern amenities . This Palace cum homestay is located just in front of the Parthaarathy Kshetram of Lord Krishna.

There are 2 double bedded bed rooms, with a dining hall, spacious kitchen which can be used if you like to cook for your family, a living room / hall etc.

Lord parthasarathy temple is located kjust in front of the palace and the temple is a tourist attraction by itself.

How to Reach Aranmula Palace
You can reach either Thiruvananthapuram or Kochi international airports if you are travelling by air. Fromm there you can either het hired vehicles or take bus transport to reach the Aranmula Palace. Thiruvananthapuram airport is placed at about 110 kilometers away and the Kochi international airport is placed 120 kilometers away from Aranmula.
Kottayam will be the nearest railway station and you can get hired vehicles and bus transport to reach the Palace
