Miya gets her name tagged in a couple of new projects
Miya, malayalam actress known as Gimi George and Mili is getting busy with a handful of projects including those of new comers. After crowning Miss Kerala Fitness, Miya had acted in a couple of movies including Oru Small Family, Dr Love, Navagatharkku Swagatham and Ee Adutha Kaalathu. But the upcoming release 'Chettayees' will bring a big break for her actress who is casted as Merlin, Biju Menon's wife.
Do you remember the blessed face which portrayed the character role of sister Alphonsa in the tele serial Alphonsamma? Its Gimi George a soul mate of Alphonsa College Pala who had made her path clear getting herself involved in a couple of upcoming movies. Winning the Miss Fitness title, she geared up to keep her foot strong in malayalam film industry.
As the name 'Gimi' was mispronounced with that of late Volleyball player Jimmy George, she thought of fine tuning her name to something unique and fresh which would keep her personality high. Even though 'Mili' was her first choice, she had voted for the name 'Miya' which is rare and keeps refreshing. With her first prominent appearance as heroine in 'Chettayees', she debuts officially as 'Miya'.
Chettayees will be the first project from Thakkali films, a combined effort of 5 close friends. The theme of the movie too is centred on the friendship and few incidents to be followed. Miya dons the character of Merlin, wife of Biju Menon. While the movie is slated to get released on 30th November, Miya do have few more projects under her kitty to keep her happy welcoming the New Year with a pleasant smile.
She had been a part of few movies inlcuding Oru Small Family, Dr Love, Navagatharkku Swagatham and Ee Adutha Kaalathu. But those movies were sufficient for her to prove her mettle as an actress.
Gettting tied with a couple of projects. Miya gets a visible part in 'Ettekal Second' and K N Sasidharan's Nayana playing the role of the mother of a young girl. Miya gets excited to work with legend Anupam Kher who is making his second outing in malayalam. While getting involved in the malayalam movies, Miya is showered with offers from tamil. But the actress is not ready to make a jump as she wants to take time to prove herself.
Miya who won the Miss Fitness title keeps herself fresh with her routine workouts. For Miya staying happy is the fitness secret which keeps her head high with confidence. Her roles in Chetayees and Nayana will get the catchy look from the viewers as she expects better opportunities in the coming years.
