Karmayodha vs Bavuttiyude Namathil: Race for box office begins on 21st December

The year 2012 was too mesmerizing for malayalam movie industry with around 130 movies released and few more counting. The year has opened a new phase giving a handful of opportunities for talented people to express themselves both in front and back of the camera. Keeping in mind of the potential market, big film makers do keep their best to get released during Onam and Christmas seasons expecting to get maximum support from the family audience. Movies of Mammootty and Mohanal are having huge market value in Kerala which eventually makes movie enthusiasts to keep counting till their movies get released.

After coming close each other during the last Onam, both actors are again ready to have a face to face encounter on silver screen with their respective movies. After the Onam clash with Run Baby Run and Thappana, Mammootty and Mohanal are gearing up for their mega releases Bavuttiyude Namathil and Karmayodha respectively with both movies getting released on 21st December.

Fans of both actors will get a chance to burst crackers a couple of days ahead of Christmas as the two biggies will have majestic release across the theatres at the Kerala Box Office. 'Venicile Vyapari' with Mammootty in lead and Mohanlal's 'Arabiyum Ottakavum, P.Madhavan Nairum' which was released during the last Christmas couldn't do well at box office. But can we expect a change this year?

Mohanlal is on the run shouldering a handful of movies, ultimately to be called as 'box office wonders'. With back to back hits like Grand Master, Spirit and Run Baby Run, the actor is gearing up to set another blockbuster this time joining with Major Ravi for Karmayodha. With a grandiose budget of 15 crores, 'Karmayodha' will be an action thriller with Mohanlal playing as an encounter specialist which is based on the child trafficking does carry a message for the society. The premier show of the movie will be held on 20th December at Dubai and a day later at various centres worldwide.

On the other hand Mammootty with Bavuttiyude Namathil is another much anticipated malayalam movie in 2012. Fans are keeping many expectations on the script of movie which is being penned by Renjith after lending his hands for Spirit. Bavuttiyude Namathil is directed by G S Vijayan in which Mammootty dons the character of Bavutti, a car driver.

Along with Karmayodha and Bavuttiyude Namathil, a couple of movies are getting ready for Christmas release. Ashique Abu's 'Da Thadiya', B Unni Krishnan's 'I Love Me' and 'Nee Ko Njaa Cha' (Ninnem Kollum Njaanum Chaavum) directed by debutant Gireesh. 'Da Thadiya and 'I Love Me' which will be released on 21st December has already got rave responses even during the making while Nee Ko Njaa Cha also had invited curiosity with its unbeatable title and young cast.

So, now the ball is in the court of the spectators who are to decide the verdict of the above movies.
