Sonia Das debuts with 72 model, directed by Rajasenan

Malayalam movie industry had been a stepping stone for many leading actors and actresses who are well known in South Indian and bollywood movies. The year 2013 too is expected to bring quite a handful of young faces ready to perform on big screen. Popular malayalam film maker Rajasenan who had given break to many youngsters is busy with his new project titled '72 Model'. He would be introducing Sonia Das, a new face who is excited to debut in tinsel town.

Being a Malayali based in Sharjah, Sonia Das accidently met director Rajasenan during a show conducted in Sharjah. Sonia was later called for a screen test which landed her as the leading actress in the director's new movie. It is much interesting to know that Sonia Das who keep interior designer as a profession will be playing the character role as the same in 72 model.

Sonia Das was too excited to have a wonderful experience working with an young team which include Sreejith Vijay, Govind Padmasurya, Bharat Chand and Nazreen Nazar. It would be a great time for Sonia to share screen space with Madhu and Vijayaraghavan too. It was a thrilling moment for the actress to have a photo shoot with legendary actor Madhu who she had been watching on screen for quite a long period. Sonia enjoyed each minute of being in the location blasting jokes with the young actors. Sonia recall her days in the locations getting high support from the director Rajasenan who has a team of technicians ready to work for him dedicatedly.

Coming to the story of movie, Vasutty(Vijayaraghavan) and his son Sajan(Govind Padmasurya) are taxi drivers. Vasutty is comfortable with 72 model Ambassador while his son Sajan drives an Innova. Sajan is much attached to Deepak (Sreejith) and Parvathy(Sonia Das). Deepak is a professional who runs drama academy while Parvathy is an interior designer.

One day Sajan got a chance to drive Vasutty's 72 model Ambassador car. At this juncture Janaki (Nasreen Nazar) who enters changes the life of Sajan and his friends. But as the days passed on the fortune turned around bringing misfortune. Rest of the theme tells about their effort to come across the troubles. Vetern actor Madhu is also casted in an important role in the movie.

The story is being handled by Rajasenan himself. Produced by J Sarathchandran Nair under the banner of Chand Creations, '72 Model' will have the magical combination of lyricist Santhosh Varma and music composed by M Jayachandran.
