Karthika Nair is a South Indian film actress born on June 27, 1992 to Radha and Rajasekharan Nair. Radha, is a former Indian actress and Rajasekharan Nair, is a business man. Karthika has a brother and a sister. Her sister Thulasi Nair is also a South Indian Actress and her brother is Vignesh Nair.
Karthika studied in Podar International School in Mumbai. Now, she is doing an international degree in Business from college affiliated to London School of Economi. Karthika's height is 5ft 6 inches. The famous actress Ambika, is her aunt. 
Career
Karthika's first film was Josh(Tollywood movie), released in the year 2009. Naga Chaitanya, the son of Akkineni Nagaarjuna is the hero in this film. Her character is Vidhya, in this movie. This film is directed by Vasu Varma. Makaramanju, her first film in Malayalam is written and directed by Lenin Rajendran . Makaramanju is a romantic drama movie. In this movie, celebrated painter Raja Ravi Varma's life at a certain stage in his life, also narrates the story of epic character in Puranas.
Santhosh Shivan, Cinematographer and Karthika appears in the main roles. It was one of the five Malayalam films screned at the International Film Festival of India. It won FIPRESCI Prize for Best Malayalam Film at the International Film Festival Kerala. This film was also nominated for the Indian National Film Awards(2010). Ko, a Tamil political Thriller directed by K.V.Anand was her first movie in Tamil. This film was a box office hit and dubbed into Telugu as Rangam as well.
