She is born on 30th July 1988 to Hansamma and Augustine, a former Malayalam actor. She has done her schooling in Calicut and Trivandrum districts respectively. As Ann is from Calicut, their engagement is fixed to be on the 9th of February 2013 at Calicut. Their engagement will be a simple ceremony in the presence of their close relatives and friends. Jomon T. John is from Cherthala, Kerala. He is a cinematographer and has worked for movie like Chaappa Kurish, Thattathin Marayathu, Beautiful and so on. Her entry to the silver screen was in the year 2010 through the film "Elsamma Enna Aankutty" directed by Lal Jose. She is the title character in this movie. As the name of the movie states, her character was very much similar to that of a boy. 
Her character, Elsamma, belonged to a poor family and was the eldest of the four daughters, hence she had to suffer a lot to take care of her family after the death of her father. Kunchacko Boban appearing as Krishanan Unni is the hero in this movie. The movie was a blockbuster and one of the hits in 2010. Among the movies she has acted so far, Kunchako Bobban also played a lead role in most of them. So far she did not get a chance to act with the superstars of the Malayalam Film Industry.
