Open Cochin Style - Konkani version of "Open Gangnam Style" goes viral on You Tube

"Open Cochin Style" is the latest album, the Konkani version of "Open Gangnam style" from the Konkani youth of Kochi. "Open Gangnam style" by the famous South Korean musician PSY is the most visited video album in the recent past. "Open Gangnam style" has become the first You Tube video to reach more than 1 million views. People all over the world have accepted this South Korean rock album with its trendy dance style. If PSY's Gangnam style has gained global audience of 1.5 million while its Konkani version "Open Gangnam style" has gained more than 13,500 visitors within 4 days of its initial launch on You Tube.

The popular Korean singer Park Jae-Sang (PSY's) "Open Gangnam Style" has been replicated in Konkani by Konkani - speaking youths of Kochi in Kerala in this four and half minute duration album song. By following the wave created by South Korean Rock "Gangnam style" the new album by Konkani - Speaking youths of Kochi has already become a hit in You Tube. More than 13,500 people have watched "Open Cochin Style" within the 4 days of its launch. The Konkani version Gangnam style has become a sensational talk not only in Fort Cochin but also in South India among Konkani people.

"Open Cochin Style" is a song penned in Konkani language. The entire song narrates the various Konkani food items such as Pathrodo, Hittu, Bodo, Rondasa, Biriyani etc. The video song "Open Cochin style" has started from the Konkani temple in Mattanchery and camera moves through various food corners of nearby places along with the energetic background song. You will get the basic ideas of Konkani food items from this song. It indeed helps in spreading their culture.

There are only three words such as Cochin style, Open and Kanan style which are borrowed from other languages to "Open Cochin Style" album song. All the other parts are purely penned in Konkani language.
