The Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) Exam 2013 was successfully held on 16th June at various centres across the state. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can check the SET 2013 answer keys on 19th June after it gets published in LBS official website.

The Kerala Set Paper I and Paper II answer key with solutions of Set A, Set B, Set C and Set D would be available in the official online portal on 19th June

The State Eligibility Test (SET) is being conducted to ensure the standards of teaching in Higher Secondary Course under the Government of Kerala. The exam is for those candidates who wish to get selected as Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers.

A stipulated pass mark is a mandatory requirement for appointment as Higher Secondary School Teachers in the State as per the special rules in force.

Conducted once in a year, the scheme of the test did have two papers. Paper 1 is common for all candidates with questions focused on General Knowledge and Aptitude in Teaching.

Paper II contained questions based on the subject of specialisation of the candidate at the Post Graduate (PG) Level. From a selection of 37 subjects given candidate could choose one which they had studied for the PG.

As effective from the 2013 exam, negative marking was avoided. The duration of the Test consisted of 120 minutes for each paper. The objective type based question paper had choices like A, B, C, D.

Candidates had to select and mark their response in the appropriate space provided in the OMR Answer Sheets. According to rule, to pass the State Eligibility Test, a candidate should have to score at least 35 percent of marks for Paper I and Paper II separately and also at least 50 percent of the aggregate marks of Paper I and Paper II.
