Apply for PG Admission at Calicut University : Guidelines
This article is about PG Admission at Calicut University for the academic year 2013-2014. Calicut University has invited applications for the admission to 14 different PG courses. The guidelines to apply for PG Program at the university is given in this article. The last date for applying is 1st July 2013.
Applications are invited for the admission to PG courses at Calicut University for the academic year 2013-2014. Candidates can apply for PG Admission at Calicut University and other affiliated colleges on or before 1st July 2013. Applications are to be submitted through online for the admission to all PG courses, except MSc Psychology. The PG courses available are : MSc General Bio Technology, MSc Bio Informatics, MSc Health & Yoga Therapy, MSc (Cyber Security), BEd Special Education for Hearing Impaired, BPEd, MSW, MSc (Food Science and Technology), MA (Folklore), MCJ, MBA, MSc Radiation Physics, Master of Physical Education (MPEd). All the given 14 courses demand different eligibility and qualifications from the candidates. After choosing the PG program the candidate who wants to enroll into Calicut University, has to do the following in order to successfully apply for the PG courses at Calicut University.
1. Candidates have to submit the applications online for all the courses except MSc Applied Psychology. The last date for submitting the application is 29th June 2013.
2. A chalan or Demand draft (only for out of state candidates and it should be taken in favor of the Finance Officer, University of Calicut payable at SBT Calicut University Branch) has to be taken by the candidate. The fee is Rs. 300 for general candidates and Rs. 100 for SC/ST and OBC candidates on successful submission of the concerned certificates.
3. The documents to be submitted by the Candidate to the Head of the Department/Co-ordinator/Director, depending on his/her chosen course are:
i) Signed Printout of Application with photograph attested by a Gazetted officer.
ii) The original Chalan receipt or Demand Draft depending upon the native place of the candidate.
iii) Attested copies of the certificates for the proof of age, qualification and community.
4. The intake of application will be closed at 5:00 PM on 1st July 2013.
