M G University degree 2014 first allotment result today
MG University (MGU) UG degree admission process CAP 2014 first allotment results will be published at the official website on 19th June (Today). After the verification of the first allotment, students should have to remit the fee due to University at designated branches of SBT before the stipulated time. The allotment will be published on www.cap.mgu.in. Candidates, who had applied for the courses, can check the first allotment by logging in the official CAP portal of the University.
Mahatma Gandhi University, better known as M G University would publish the first allotment results at the official admission website on 19th June 2014. After the publication of the provincial rank list trial allotment on 15th June, students were given ample time to modify, rearrangement/addition/deletion of options.
As the period earmarked for revising options ended on 17th June, the University has decided to publish the first allotment result. The allotment list for admission to degree courses in affiliated arts and science colleges of the University will be made available at www.cap.mgu.in.
To check the first allotment status in their UG CAP profile page, candidates must have to login with the application number and password.
After the verification of the first allotment, students should have to remit the fee due to University at designated branches of SBT before the stipulated time and report in the allotted college for admission. Applicants can use the time to rearrange and delete the higher option. A second allotment would be conducted by the last week of June to fill the vacancies.
During the first week of July, a first special allotment for the SC/ST candidates will be published. The second special and supplementary allotment to be followed later and classes would commence by the 2nd week of July. The admission to applicants for the community and management merit quota will be done during this period. The rank list of the candidates under this category would be published on the college notice board. The homely atmosphere provided by the colleges under the University attracts students from different parts of the state and country. For the existing 21,000 seats, the University is expected to receive more than double applications. As the University would be introducing news courses in the current year, there will be a marginal increase in the number of seats for various undergraduate programmes.
The seats to different courses in colleges will be filled through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP), a simple and lucid system introduced to provide admission for the students who wish to purse education in colleges under the University.
