Calicut University 2014 trial new allotment (revised) will be published today (25th June 2014) at the official website www.cuonline.ac.in/. The UG degree admission CAP 2014 trial allotment results or rank lists will be republished on June 25. As the CAP trial allotment got cancelled due to errors found the list, the new revised CAP single window trial allotment list is to be made available in the portal for rearranging and modification.
Calicut University will publish the revised trial allotment list today (25th June) for the admission of degree courses for the academic year 2014 -15. The new trial list will be made available at the official website www.cuonline.ac.in/. Even though the allotment done through the CAP system got published a couple of days ago, the trial result was cancelled due to errors found the list.
With more than 20,000 candidates applied for the UG courses, the Calicut University was forced to withdraw the trial allotment result following the complaints arisen about the errors in the rank list. The major default was regarding the index mark calculation and the inclusion of students with lower index mark in the list over those who got higher marks. Anyway, the University has looked into the matter with high seriousness and decided to publish the revised allotment list after the rectification of errors. The allotment timetable will help the students and parents to know the important dates regarding the Centralized Admissions Process (CAP). 
After the chaos created in the single window allotment process, the modified trial allotment will be published on 25th June by evening. Candidates can check the Provisional Rank List & Trial Allotment status from 25th June onwards by logging into the official CAP (Centralized Allotments Process) portal of the University. Applicants can modify and make changes in the options on 26th and 27th June 2014.
After the period earmarked for revising options, the first allotment list will be published in the official website of the University. As the allotment schedule has changed, the first allotment is expected to get declared only by 30 or 31st June 2014. Even though it does not ensure admission for any course or college, it will clear the doubts about the online method of selection. Students are advised to visit the official website frequently to get updates about the allotment. The schedule of the 1stand 2nd allotment will be announced later.
