Calicut University has published the first allotment result of 2014 CAP degree admission today (1st July) at the official website. Applicants can check their allotment from the official web portal of Calicut University after logging into www.cuonline.ac.in/ the site using their application number and password. Those who got allotment should download the admission fee remittance chalan and remit the admission fee in any SBT branch through SBT Internet Banking, SBT e-chalan and Friends / Akshaya E-Chalan system.
Candidates can check the first allotment results from 1st July onwards. The details regarding the admission fee will be intimated through a notification in the University website. After remittance of fee, applicants should have to login to the University admission website and enter the details of admission fee payment on or before the stipulated time confirm their seat for a course under the University.
The allotment of those candidates who fail to enter admission fee remittance details before the specified time will be automatically cancelled without any prior intimation. The allotment schedule will help the students and parents to know the important dates regarding the Centralized Admissions Process (CAP).
Those students who are not satisfied with the allotted seat must remit the fee and enter the admission fee details within the allotted time to get considered for future allotments. Meanwhile, applicants who get pleased with the current allotment have to cancel their higher option. If the higher options are not cancelled before the period, it will be considered for future allotments and the candidates should accept the newly allotted seat. A supplementary list with at least twice the number of candidates ranked in order for admission to fill the vacancies of each quota will be published after the first allotment.
