Aalroopangal: A movie with an interesting story


Aalroopangal malayalam movie written and directed by debutante C V Premkumar featuring Nandu and Maya Viswanath in lead roles is currently undergoing shoot. Sudheer Karamana, Kainari Thankaraj, C P Medvada, Ambi, Mahadev, Viven Prem, Sanjana Chandran, Vasanth Unni, Devi Menon, Sreekutty and Roshni in prominent roles. The movie is produced by M M Naushad under the banner Pooram Cine Production.

After giving a highly notable performance in upcoming release 'Otta Mandaram, actor Nandu has dedicated his time for 'Aalroopangal'. Scripted and directed by debutante C V Premkumar, the movie revolves around the life of a man who runs a 'Thattukada' (a covered cart on the roadside which sells street food like hot porotta, fish, chicken fry, omlette and thattu dosha).

A sudden hartal changes the life of the lead character which forms the crux of the movie. Even though made with a limited budget, the movie will surely be made to keep the audience intact in the dark room. It would also be challenging role for Nadhu who has been a vital for the malayalam film industry for the past 3 decades.

Maya Viswanath will be the lead heroine while the cast in supported by Sudheer Karamana, Kainari Thankaraj, C P Medvada, Ambi, Mahadev, Viven Prem, Sanjana Chandran, Vasanth Unni, Devi Menon, Sreekutty and Roshni donning prominent roles. It is produced by M M Naushad under the banner Pooram Cine Production. Maya Viswanath, much known for her character roles in movies and tele serials is highly ambitious about the new project.

She has started in more than 10 movies including 'Ananthabhadam', 'Kutti Shrank', 'Scene 1 Nammude Veedu', 'Crocodile Love Story' and 'Geethanjali'. Interestingly, the former Miss Trivandrum with an experience of working behind the screen for more than 17 years has shown her talent in various serials. Her popular serials include 'Kayamkulam Kochunni', 'Amma' and 'Suryakaladi Mana'.

Meanwhile Nandu would shower a delight for the moviegoers through his performance in 'Otta Mandaram' which would hit theatres very soon. He plays Bharathan, a worker at a rice industrial unit who had to marry a young girl, the sister of his wife in a particular circumstance. Nandu has received the SIIMA award for the best supporting actor for her acting brilliance in the movie 'Spirit'.
