At present this band literally viral among the youth of Kerala, each and every child in Kerala at some point or the other have heard or read about Thaikkudam Bridge. The band does not believe in any particular genre, the main cyst of the band is that they take up the music that people like and then make it better. As far as genre is considered the band too has artist who are well versed in Indian pop, Indian rock , Melodic music and Reggae. The band has gained lots of laurels by it successful appearance in n Kappa TV's Music Mojo. The band's line-up is — lead guitarist being Mithun Raju (formerly of Motherjane), Vian Fernandez (bass guitarist), Govind P. Menon (violin and vocals), Siddharth Menon (vocals), Ashok Nelson (rhythm guitars), Vipin Lal (vocalist), Christi Jose (vocalist), Ruthin Thej (keyboards), Abin Thej (drums), Piyush Kapoor (vocalist and guitarist), Vian Fernandez (bass guitarist), Krishna Bongane and Nila Madhav Mohapatra (Hindustani vocalists), and Peethambaran Menon (vocals). The main strength of the band according to Govind P. Menon, is that it's ability to understand the changing needs, interest and passion of the people and to make songs as the people needs and not as they like. This band has mix of artists from Kerala and outside Kerala which provides a wide range of diversity and exposure to the band. This has helped them to come up with some of the best songs. Two cousins Govind Menon and Siddarth Menon, the former was a music director and the latter who was a budding music star used to sing songs and give tunes to famous song mostly medley by Rehman. 
This was the true beginning and a platform to what is now a hot burning sensational and viral band, Thaikkudam Bridge. Before the creation of the band Siddarth Menon was part of a band based from Mumbai named Nirmitee This band basically takes songs and add its own flavour to those songs. Nirmitee had also been the finalist in X Factor show on Sony. And Govind Menon used to direct musics for the show Music Mojo. It was at this juncture that Siddarth Menon visited Govind Menon and they sat together and gave voice to few songs which they uploaded on Youtube, this was the starting of a great future ahead.
After this the band was offered to do 12 songs for Music Mojo on Kappa TV and this was the reason why Govind Menon and Siddarth Menon called their friends from Mumbai and Kerala and formed this band. In the beginning of there journey they didn't had the slightest of hint that they were going to make a band. At first the only motto was to complete the assignment at hand that was to do the 12 songs after that they were to dismantle, but the popularity of the group spread as a wild fire and this was when they even thought of building up a band.How the band got it's name as Thaikkudam Bridge?
There is a mind boggling story behind the name Thaikkudam Bridge. The band used to practice and rehearse in a hotel named V M Crown that was located near Thaikkudam Bridge. Piyush Kapoor, the vocalist and guitarist of the band who sang Beat It, was to arrive at airport and Siddharth Menon and Govind Menon had promised to pick him up from the airport but due to some last minute arrangement they were unable to keep up with their promise. So they called him and told him to hire a taxi to Thaikkudam Bridge, practically that was the only name which Piyush Kapoor knew in malayalam. So when there was a discussion about giving a name for the band it was Piyush Kapoor who suggested the name Thaikkudam Bridge. At first evevryone had some dilemma regarding that name but later on they finalised on that and now many consider this name also as a factor for the success of the band. The songs that the band had sung for Music Mojo are "Nostalgia" which was sung by Siddharth Menon, Govind Menon, Vipin Lal and Christine Jose, Nostalgia is the reincarnation of evergreen Malayalam songs. "Malayalam Medley" and "Ilayaraja Medley" sung by Vipin Lal and Christine Jose, "Haq Allah" by Krishna Bongnane and Nila Madhav Mohapathra, "Jam" which was given life by Krishna Bongnane, Nila Madhav Mohapathra, Piyush Kapoor, and Vipin Lal. The famous "Aisa Koi" and "Rahman Medley" which stole the heart of millions whose credit goes to Siddharth Menonand it also contained songs like "Beat it", "Aerials", "Thekkum Kooradiyathil", "Chekele", "Appozhum", "Godfather & Co"and "Neeraduvan".
Thaikkudam Bridge, has also sung originals like Fish Rock and Shiva both of which were composed by Govind Menon and was mixed by Rajan KS. Theses songs have driven the youths of today and the popularity of the band is spreading like a wildfire. The most recent of the endeavour by Thaikkudam Bridge is the second part of Nostalgia-Nostalgia 2, which also has gained a lot of applauds and the youtube hits for the song is growing exponentially. After the success of the band now it's being called to different colleges all round the state for its live performances. Recently the band was also invited to sing for MTV Coke Studio, which in itself a great achievement for any band.
