Fireman
Fireman, directed by Deepu Karunakaran featuring Mammootty in lead will reach theatres during this Christmas. The movie revolves around the life of a fireman who protects the life of the villagers at a gas tanker accident. Nyla Usha, Unni Mukundan and Siddhique would also be seen in pivot roles. Produced by Milan Jaleel under the banner of Galaxy Films, this thriller is blessed with the music rendered by Rahul Raj. Mammootty plays a fireman, an entirely different and challenging character not done his 30 years long acting career. Ivan Maryadaraman directed by Suresh Divakar Payipadu featuring Dileep in lead role is another movie which is lined up for Christmas release. Scripted by Siby K Thomas and Uday Krishnan, the movie is being produced by Anto Joseph under the banner Anto Joseph Films Company for a mamooth budget of Rs 10 Crores. This mass entertainer creamed with a mix of comedy, suspense, action, dance and music is blessed with the presence of Nikki Galrani as the heroine. Gopi Suder has set the tunes for the movie. Cousins
Cousins is one of the most awaited Christmas release movie which feature Kunchako Boban, Indrajith, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Joju George, Vedhika and Nisha Agarwal in lead roles. Scripted by Sethu and directed by Vyshakh, the movie revolves around four Cousins and their journey. Made with a budget of Rs 10 Crores, the movie was shot at various locations including Bangalore, Pollachi, Kodaikanal, Athirapally and Ernakulam. Penned by Rafiq Ahmed, the music is being set by M Jayachandran. The movie is produced by Vaishakh Rajan under the banner Vaishaka Cinema. Nemumudi Venu, Kalabhavan Shajon and Pradeep Ratwat will also be seen in prominent roles. This thriller peppered with humour would reach theatres very soon. 
Mili
Mili helmed by Rajesh Pillai having Amala Paul and Nivin Pauly in lead revolves around a girl named Mili who overcomes setbacks through self –discovery and buoyancy. Mili played by Amala Paul is a woman with a lot of convolutions. As Mili realizes the internal potential, she finds her own way to survive in this world. The movie is produced by Sathish B Sathish under the banner of ordinary films. Scripted by Mahesh Narayanan, the movie will have Praveena and Sanusha in prominent roles.Gopi Sundar and Shaan Rahman have set the tunes. Praveena, Shamna Kasim, Praveena, Sanusha, Soumya Sadanandan, Sai Kumar and Sreerag Nambiar will be playing the important roles in the movie. Nivin plays the character of Naveen, a soft-skills trainer who stays as a big part in Mili's life. Picket 43
Picket 43, the movie which has Prithviraj in lead is all about the life of an army officer who who gets isolated in the heavy snow. The movie conveys a high end message to the young generation. The story is about an officer who becomes deserted in a frozen place in Kashmir finding hard to survive with his companions, a dog and a radio. The movie creamed with elements like war and love is an attempt from the filmmaker Major Ravi to instigate initiate patriotism among the young generations in the country. Javed Jaffrey will also be seeen in the lead role. The cinematography is done by Jomon T John while 'Picket 43' is produced by MR Productions.Aamayum Muyalum
Jayasurya's upcoming movie 'Aamayum Muyalum' directed by Priyadarshan is touted as an in-and-out entertainer. Innocent, Nedumudi Venu, Harishree Ashokan, Manianpilla Raju, Mamookoya, KPAC Lalitha, Edavela Babu, Nandu, Anoop Menon and Piya Bajpai in prominent roles. Singer-composer M G Sreekumar has set the tunes. This fun thriller scripted by the director himself follows the lines of the movie 'Thenmavin Kombathu'. The story revolves around people living on either bank of a river and the conflict between them. Aamayum Muyalum' would reach theatres as a Christmas visual treat.
