IntroductionAxis College of Engineering and Technology, Thrissur, an institution of higher education started to provide quality education to the students is now one among the leading colleges both in curricular and extracurricular activities. The college which was established in the year 2010 is under the ownership of Global Knowledge foundation. The college is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE, New Delhi and has the affiliation of Calicut University. The campus which sprawled across 11 acres of land with a built up area of nearly 14000.00sq.m is located at Kodaly in Thrissur. The nearest railway station Iringalakkuda, which is 12 km from the college. Also college is 25 km from the district head quartos. Dr Santhose Kumar holds the present principle position of ACET.
Mode of admission
For admission to various B.Tech degree courses in MBITS, all students shall be required to passed in plus 2 or equivalent exam with minimum 50% aggregate for mathematics. Admission to the college follows the rules of merit. 50% seats are filled under merit quota and remaining 50% are under management quota. Eligible candidates can buy the application from the college and resubmit with in allotted period. Courses Offered

Central Library: Library is clearly a great resources of information. It benefit one to have deep knowledge about a subject. ACET offers you a computerized library with many test books, national and international journals, e-books and magazines. All the students and faculty members have the permission to access the library at any time and for bringing books to home. Specific period is allowed for lending purpose and students who lend the book should resubmit it within the allotted period in order to avoid fine.
Hostel: Both boys and girls hostels are provided in the college campus. Each room in the hostel is well spacious and hygienic and are under the maintains of wardens all the time. Messes are provided in each hostels. Besides, facilities for gaming and watching TV are avail in the hostels.
Canteen: Most of the delicious Kerala dishes are available in the college canteen. Spacious hall with seperate hall for faculties are arranged inside the canteen building. Healthy atmosphere here is the common meeting place of students for carry out their celebration.
General store: For meeting the general requirement of students, a store function inside the campus. All stationeries, notes, test books, records, engineering instruments and many sweets are available in the store. Also from the store, all the students can take photo copies at an affordable rates.
Sports: In addition to academics, college also promote sports and games for good physical health. Badminton, food ball and volleyball courts etc. are arranged for students to exhibit their co-curricular activities.
