Admission in FISAT for B.Tech coures

Applications are invited for the admission of B.Tech coures in FISAT( Federal Institute of Science and Technology),Angamaly, Ernakulam. The applications are invited for the management quota( NRI quota) for the 42 vacant seats. The application forms are available from the college office on payment of Rs. 200 or can be available by a Demand Draft of Rs.250 in favour of FISAT payable at Ernakulam. Application form can be downloaded from the official website of FIST.

Courses offered by FISAT in B.Tech;
The courses offered by the college for B.Tech courses are Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Publication of FISAT rank list:11.June.2010
Last date of notifying the discrepancies,if any:12.June.2010(10am)
Starting of the counseling for admission:14.June.2010


Eligibility
1. An average of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in plus two.
2.50% marks in Mathematics in plus two.


Selection Procedure.
The selection of the candidates are solely based on their merits. A rank list will be prepared based on the marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the rank in the Common Entrance Examination in Kerala. Both Entrance and Plus two are given equal importance in selection procedure.


Documents to be submitted during Counseling;
1.Mark List and Pass Certificate of Plus two or Equivalent in original, with two attested copies.
2.SSLC/ Secondary Examination certificate in original with 2 attested copies.
3.Physical fitness certificate in the format provided in the prospectus for Entrance Examination.
4.Transfer Certificate in original from the Institution last studied.
5.Course and conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied.
6.Admit card of Entrance Examination in original, if appeared.
7.Result sheet of the Entrance Examination in Original, if qualified.
8.Four passport size & Two stamp size (colour) photographs.
9.Migration certificate in original for students other than those passed Kerala PLUS 2, VHSE & THSE.
10.Eligibility Certificate from M G University for students other than those passed Kerala PLUS 2, VHSE, CBSE, ISCE, THSE.
