Stay on 'Oru Naal Varum' and problems with the petition.

Oru Naal Varum, Ee Kaliveedil Ninnu, issued related to the stay and petition.

Oru Naal Varum movie
The grand opening of much awaited and anticipated Mohanlal- Sreenivasan starring Malayalam movie 'Oru Naal Varum' was stayed. The stay was issued by a Kozhikode court in response to the petition made by K V Vijayan, a teacher in Mukkam. KV Vijayan had worked as Jayaraj's assistant during the making of 'Gulmohar'. The stay,the rain and the release of other movies postponed the release of the movie to 25th July. According to K V Vijayan, he told the story to Sreenivasan last year, but Sreenivasan rejected the story saying that it had no scope for comedy in that story. Later K V Vijayan published the story in the book form under the name 'Ee Kaliveedil Ninnu'. This is the second plagiarism against 'the genius' in Malayalam film industry, Sreenivasan. The previous case was related to the hit movie 'Kadha Paryumbol', but later it was proved in the court that Sreenivasan was innocent. That will again happen in this case too. The reasons are;

1. The plot of the two stories are different.'Ee Kaliveedil Ninnu' is the story of a common citizen residing in the village. He is facing problem related to his building construction. The problem is due to the negligence of Corporation authorities. 'Oru Naal Varum' is also a story of a common citizen, but the backgrounds and situations are different. In 'Oru Naal Varum', the central character faced problem related to the construction of his house. Here the story is happening in town and not in the village. And most of all, the thumb block in front of him is the Town Planning officer.

2. According to K V Vijayan, he published the story 'Ee Kaliveedil Ninnu' in April 10. But the works of 'Oru Naal Varum' was started in April 23. How could this happen in a short span of time like this to plagiarize a script for the movie.

3. The most important, but the funniest about the petition charged is about the name of the film. In the complaint, the petitioner gave the name of the movie as 'Oru Nalla Naal Varum', instead of 'Oru Naal Varum'.

There is just simple closeness to both the plots. In fact, all the stories are always have something in common. That's what happened here too. This might have lead K V Vijayan to post a petition against the film. Anyway the fans expect the release of the film on July 25 overcoming all these troubles.
