Champakulam boat race 2010

Champakulam boat race 2010 will be conducted on 26th July. Champakulam Boat Race is held every year at the Champakulam Lake in Alappuzha, Kerala. This is the first boat race of the harvest season of Kerala state. This is the largest snake boat race in India. And at the end of the day, the Karichal ‘chundan' (snake-boat), rowed by the Jesus Boat Club (JBC),lifted the Rajapramukhan trophy in the Champakulam Moolam Boat Race. Now Kerala will host other small and big boat races in different lakes across the state.
