Optimizing the Google Search: Query Operator in Google.

Google Search Supports Query Operations within a Specific Site,Title, URL, file type, Numrange, Etc. For example if you need to restrict your search for tours in kerala within spiderkerala.net , you can do so by following the query Operator site.

What is a Query :

A query is a one which we inputs to google, which is a medium understood by google.


For ex : spiderkerala.net , after typing this in the google search box, google will identify this term spiderkerala.net as a query and returns with a result containing spiderkerala.net in all webpages.

1)Site:

This helps us to search within a site in google.

For Ex : Site:spiderkerala.net tours in kerala

Now google will search for tours in kerala within the domain name spiderkerala.net

2)Intitle:

This Helps us to search in a title of a document within a site or Page.

For Ex : intitle:Spider kerala

The query operator Intitle will search for query which we have entered in google followed by the specific word or phrase, and looks only in the title of the document or HTML .

3)All in Title:

This Search Operator will perform the same function as in intitle, but the search is broad here where the query looks for the complete title.

4)Inurl:

This query finds the words which we enter with the search term

For Ex : inurl:spider kerala

This search query now will find the fords spider and Kerala in the URL, so it's a Equivalent query to all in url:spiderkerala.

5)File type:

This Search term will provide the results for the file type we mentioned in to google,

For Ex : file type.pdf spider

Now the above search query will results in bringing the PDF files with name Spider.

6)Link:

The Search Query link will gives us the result which links to the particular query,

For Ex: link: spiderkerala.net

Now this Search Query to google will brings the Webpages which contains the link to spiderkerala.net.

This query "" will gives us the webpages which contains the particular word between ""

For Ex: "spiderkerala.net "

This Search will display the results webpages which contains the text/phrase spiderkerala.net .
