What is Water Skiing
Water Skiing is a famous water adventure sport. In this we are accelerately scated on the surface of the water body accompanied by a speedboat. We are attached to these speedboats by ropes or belts and are pulled by these boats. For doing water skiing, it requires a good balance to make up in the waves and tides of the water body. The persons who perform water skiing is known as a water skier and have a rubber made water skis to slide through the water.
Why the name 'Water Skiing'
The sport is given that peculiar name because while encountering high waves and tides in the water, the skier is used to have a marvelous jump such that he is up to the sky, and this is the reason for it to be known like that.How to do Water Skiing
In water skiing the skier have to sit in a crouch position in the surface of the water initially. If he is okay with his balance and position he signals the boat driver to start. Then the boat driver accelerates the boat. There is also a third person in this contest. His duty is to observe the skier. If the skier falls down in anyway, he signals the boat driver to stop.
