Chilly Fish Curry (Meen Mulaku curry) Recipe
Kerala style
Fish (sardine or mackerel) - 500gm
Onion (chopped) - 1
Red chilly powder - 1 table spoon
Water - 2 tea cups
Salt - to taste
Tomato - 2
Curry leaves - 10 or 12 leaves
Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon
Green chilly - 5
Coconut oil - 1 table spoon
Preparation:-
1) Make a paste of tomato with out adding water.
2) Mix onion, red chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, tomato paste, green chilly and water. Allow to boil.
3) Add fish to boiling curry. Cook for 20 minutes.
4) Turn off stove when fish is cooked and add coconut oil.
5) Garnish with curry leaves.
Chilly fish curry is ready.
