Kerala football team started the journey to Santosh Trophy Football tournament on 19th July 2010. The team reaches Kolkatha Shalimar station on 20th July 2010. The first match of Kerala team is with Utharakhand on July 22nd, so the team will get only one day for the practice and prepration. The teams along with Kerala team in cluster VII are UtharaKhand, Himachal Pradesh and Assam.
