High level of Uric acid and Gout
Uric acid is acid of excess proteins of the body. Uric acid is produced from the natural break down of body's cells and the food you take. Most of the uric acid is filtered by the kidney and passes out of the body in urine. A small amount passes out of the body in stool. If too much uric acid is produced by the body, vital organs don't have enough Magnesium to remove uric acid properly. So kidneys are not able to remove high amount of uric acid from blood normally, the level of uric acid in the blood increases (Hyperuricemia). Uric acid will stop the body from getting enough oxygen to stay healthy.
Common symptom of high level of uric acid is gout. Gout is the painfulcondition of joints. It is a painful form of arthritis that millions experience each year. This is due to the formation of solid crystals within joints due to high level of uric acid. If gout remains untreated, it will affect the nearby tissues forming lumpy deposits, called tophi. Tophi are chalky, gritty accumulations of uric acid crystals.
High levels of uric acid may also cause kidney stones or kidney failure. High uric acid level may develop prior to the development of high blood pressure, heart disease or chronic kidney disease. But it is often unclear whether high uric acid level is a direct cause or merely an early warning sign of these conditions.
