The Bombay Stock Exchange opened at 20082.26 points and reached a high of 20267.98 and low of 20082.26 before closing the day at 20117.38 compared to Friday's closing rate of 20045.18 an increase of 72.20 points or 0.36% over its previous close. The major gainers being India Infoline, Sterling Biotech, Videocon Industries, Balrampur Chini and Hindustan Zinc in A Group while the losers in A Group were Mahindra & Mahindra Fin.
