Movie 'Best Actor' in first response

The movie 'Best Actor' is getting good responses in the first day itself. The first half is much better than second half. The film is an emotional and a stunning comedy entertainer as well. The climax is above average, not an outstanding one.

The Story of the film: A UP school teacher Arun Mohan who has an earnest desire to become a film actor. The movie is saying the story about the continuous efforts of Mohan to fulfill his dream by leaving his job, even his family.

Direction and screenplay: The film is moving with stupendous comedy scenes from its starting to until the second half. The first half entertained me very much. Really the director deserves good appreciations for that in his first film 'Best actor'. The first half gave me many expectations about second half and climax. But second half was weak with full of repeating sequences which we have seen in other films. The director forgot about the supporting actors in the second half including the heroin. The script and the performance of Mammootty will save the film from the average collection. The director Martin Prakat and Bipin Chandran had done a good work on its script and dialogues by trying an unusual theme.

Music: Songs from Bijibal is not that much striking. All songs are average melodies.

Climax: Even though we feel some other film scenes when see the climax, it s notable as an above average climax. Also I felt similarities in the climax of this film with the climax of 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya' with slight variations.

Plus point: First half is full of comedy scenes and dialogues. It will make good mouth publicity for the film. Climax is very good.

Minus Point: Second half is weak with no more roles for others in second half except Mammootty. Also it has got indifferent action scenes.

My view: I enjoyed a lot the comedies and dialogues in the first half and am happy about that Mammootty has been done an awesome performance in 'Best Actor' after 'Pazhassi raja' . I cannot stop my laughing by seeing the expressions of him in the first scene with Sreenivasan. And also I liked very much his appearance in his new dress codes.

Performance of stars in 'Best Actor'

Mammootty has got a performance oriented role in this film. He had performed in outstanding way in this film. His dialogues, humor and shameful expressions, dressing code and body language are superb and very impressive. Sruthi Ramakrishnan also had done a good work in first half. Other supporting actors are showed performance in average way. Nedumudi venu is a boring and very poor performance in this film. No important roles for KPAC Lalitha, Sreenivasan and Sukumari

Box Office forecast: It should collect above average. The performance of Mammotty and the different theme will save the picture.

Rating: We can rate as four star for this film. We can say the film is 60 to 70 percentage successful.
