An upcoming hill station at 60 kms from Kottayam town.The name of this place means Valley where leaves don't fall.There are no trees here.It is sorrounded by Mankunnu hill,Kudayathoormala hill and Thonippara hill,each about 3200 ft.During the monsoon season the valley is filled with water creating a lake.We can enjoy sun rise and sunset from the same place.Kannadipara is the highest point in Ilaveezhapoonchira.Valley of Kannadipara reflects the Sun as perfect as with a Mirror.Erumely
It is situated at about 60 km from kottayam full of natural bliss.It is situated on way to Sabarimala.Erumely is know for its Vavar mosque where the pilgrims going to Ayyapan temple at Sabarimala offer prayers.Vavar was a friend of Sabarimala Ayyapan.Erumely is the venue for the famous Petta thulal,held during the holy seasons of Pilgrimage to Sabarimala.
