AGE: 20 to 35 years, Candidates should be born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.1990(both dates are included)
Educational Qualification:
1. Candidates must have obtained B.A., B.Sc. or B.Com. Degree or any equivalent or higher degree of any recognized University.
2. Must satisfy a medical Board as to his Physical Fitness and capacity for active outdoor work.
Selection Procedure:
Valid candidates will be called for written examinations. Two type of examination will be held. First is Preliminary and second is Final Examinations. Candidates who passed the preliminary examination will be eligible for appearing final examination. Candidates who passed the final examination will be called for interview. After the interview KPSC put up a rank list in this regard and as per that list, KPSC will the advice memo.

1. Preliminary Examination
a) General Knowledge and Current Affairs - 50 marks
b) English Language – Vocabulary & Grammar - 25 marks
c) Test of Reasoning including quantitative SSLC Level Mathematics - 25 marks

Final Examination consists of two papers.

Paper II – Data Appreciation, Problem Solving and Essay Writing
Time :1 hour

Peper II having 3 parts.
Part I – Data Appreciation and Interpretation
In this part, candidates will be asked to draw their own conclusions from the data
presented in a tabular form or graphically or otherwise.
Part II – Problem solving
In this part, duly 'structured' situation will be presented to the candidates and asked to suggest their own solution to the problems arising out of the situation. Alternatively they maybe called upon to prove their understanding of the situation by answering certain searching questions based on the situation.
Part III – Essay Writing
In this part, the candidates will have to write a short essay which would not exceeding 500 words on a given specific topic.
Medium of Questions is English. Candidates can answer the questions either in English or in the Regional Languages Malayalam, Tamil or
