Oberoi Motor vessel Vrinda is a cruiser on the backwaters of Kerala . The cruiser has 8 cabins , luxuriously appointed with king sized beds and large windows overlooking the Vembanad lake. The cabins are elegantly designed with wooden flooring with attached bathroom and shower. The cabin is provided with furniture to sit and watch the proceedings in the lake, TV and a DVD player toisten to songs or watch movies, as well as an electronic safe for the peace of mind of the travellers.
They have also arranged for Smoking guest rooms and if you need one you have to inform the authorities while booking.
Dining facilities at Oberoi Motor Vessel Vrinda
There is a lounge and Bar in the Upper Deck from where you can have panoramic and beautiful views of the Vembanad lake.
The Breakfast is served on th sun deck at sunrise to create a magical ambience of peace and serenity. You can have an unique menu of your choice from the international and the south indian cuisines. Since the area is rich in coconuts, pearlspot and chemmeen, bananas and rice, you ca have a combination of the dishes made out of these.
Crab and Orange salad, Masala prawns and espresso cheese mouse are the signature dishes at the dining room.
Itinerary at Oberoi Motor Vessel Vrinda for 3 nights and 4 days on Vembanad lake
Day 1 - Arrival on board, lunch will be served as she sets sails and enters Alappuzha canals. The vessel will anchor for the night.
Day 2 - The vessel will set sail from the Vembanad jetty towards Alappuzha through the Pamba river. The vessel will anchor at Kanjipadam and the guests will be taken on the rice boat to the interiors as it is easier to navigate in the traditional riceboat in to the narrow canals. When the guests return the lunch will be served as the vessel sets sail to Alappuzha. The vessel will anchor at Vembanad Boat jetty for the night.
Day 3 - Motor vessel Vrinda will set sail from the vembanad boat jetty and sail past Kanjipadam to Champakulam where the guests will be transferred into the riceboat and taken interiors for a pre lunch sight seeing excursion. They can visit St Mary's Church, Sree Bagavathy Kshetrm, and also the snake boat yard at Champakulam. Mohiniattam program will be performed for the guests in the afternoon . Dinner on Board.
Day 4 - at about 8 am the motor vessel will set sail to the Vembanad lake Jetty and reach around 10 am. In the meanwhilethe guests will be served breakfast . As they reach the Vembanad Lake jetty , the guests will be transported to cochin in an air conditioned vehicle. For a single occupancy per cabin tariff is Rs 95000 and double occupancy it is Rs 105000
This is a fixed time journey and so cannot be customized.

Rates include - Accommodation, all meals namely breakfast, lunch and dinner, transportation to and from Cochin airport / railway station and all applicable taxes.
Only a maximum of two persons can be accommodated in a cabin. Children below 12 are not allowed and the children above 12 years will have to get another cabin
