The story of Traffic is based on incidents that take place in a span of 24 hours. Raihan, played by Vineeth Sreenivasan is a TV journalist, working for a well known channel. He and his friend Rajiv (Asif Ali) are on their way to his first assignment for the channel – to interview the super star of Malayalam films, Sidharth Shankar (Rahman). While waiting at the Traffic, their bike is knocked down by a truck. Also waiting in another car is Abel, a doctor played by Kunchako Boban, and Sudevan (Sreenivasan), a police constable on his way to rejoin duty at the end of a brief period of suspension. The story is about four different individuals and the incidents that join them together on a September 16.
Fates and lives of these four strangers get entangled, and now they are united in a single mission, sharing the same pain and grief. They are like four different roads that meet at the traffic signal, and then destiny brings them together in a sequence of inevitable incidents. Their goals and aspirations became one, just the way different paths merge at a traffic signal.
Rajesh pillai did a brilliant job as the director of the movie. Cinematographer Shaiju Khalid, editor Mahesh Nayaranan, and music directors Majo Joseph and Samson Kottor have done a good job of their assignments.
