Physical Education teachers in schools

Under the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, state government is going to call for new Physical education posts in the schools. Meeting of the representatives of teachers, presided by Director of Public Education proposed the plan to the state government. According to the proposal, schools with 250-499 students can appoint one physical education teacher. Schools with 500-999 students can appoint two faculty and the schools with more than 1000 students can go for three. Schools with students less than 250 can also appoint a staff jointly.
Vacancies will be filled from the employment exchange. The candidates will be interviewed by a committee and will be placed under Sub district, Education district and Revenue district levels. Lower Primary schools will be given emphasize during the project.
